we're all in this, together. :)

ello, i'm roxanne.
i don't know why i'm saying that but i'm just feeling lame.
hahahh. -_-

recently there's a lot of things lining up for me to tick off my to-do list
i feel like i should be doing something, when i find myself doing the opposite.
sigh, when can i gather all my passion and finally give myself that BIG BOOST of energy to do it all?
i need, a boost.

recently,
i've also realized something about the people around me.
the people that i see everyday, or every sunday at church, or just a random stranger.
i talk to them, i laugh with them, i say 'hi' to some of them occasionally,
and i never felt anything about those little actions or i never bothered to mean it when i ask 'how are you' sometimes.

i, i don't know how to put it down to words, but i wanna say it out loud.
i feel like i've not been paying attention to the people around me at all.
i feel like even though i DO talk to them, i DO laugh with them,
but i don't know a single thing about their life.
i might never get to know what's your story from your own mouth,
but when i finally hear something from others, about you,
i can't believe a single thing.
i couldn't believe that innocent face and sweet smile i've seen was just a disguise.

and why?
when i hear stories like that, it breaks my heart.
it really, really does.
when i hear something that awful would happen to my friends, maybe not very close,
i can't believe i'm missing out on that huge chunk of your life. i feel, helpless and pitiful and sorry and.. helpless, again.

i may not even have a single idea when we're joking and laughing,
that you're trying so hard to cover your pain and hurt.
i don't know.

i want to hear your story, i want to be there for you,
and i want you to know that.
you will never be reading this, but i still wanna shout it out through space, through time, through the crowd, that i'm willing to sit down and listen.
i don't wanna have to hear it from someone else,
it may not be true.
i wanna hear it from you. so, talk to me.
just talk. i'm here to listen.

i'm referring to everyone who's anyone out there reading this blog post now.
i'm willing to listen to your side of the story.
i learned from this, to not judge anyone anymore.
because when you look at your friends or a stranger in the eye,
you can't see through their heart.
you don't know what they're going through in their home everyday, their secrets, their history, their private lives.
what do we know?
who are we to judge.
when you say someone's so arrogant and selfish,
do you know what are the odds that that person may be an orphan or just lost someone precious in their lives?
do you ever stop to think that maybe he or she is getting beaten up everyday at home?
do you know maybe she's craving for love and affection because she never had that in her broken family.
do you see the invisible scars in her life?

God sees it and there's something He wants us to learn from them.
an important lesson.

He wants us learn to love the least, the last, and the lost.
so, love.
love with the love God had given us.
sometimes it's not just about us.
don't just mention me, me, me in your prayers.
"God give ME" , "God show ME", "God let ME"
pray for others for once.
open your eyes to notice others around you.
they have a story to tell.

when you're happy and you know it, clap your hands (:

today's Sunday again!
i always loveee Sundays, other than being with God, i get to be closer with my dear mif's through Christ :))

today we got to draw on each other's faces ehem, i meant 'make-up' each other. haha!
everyone went completely wild, and unleashed their inner creativity on each other's faces.
one satisfaction is, no one was left un-beautified. LOLLL.

our mif's connections got so much closer now,
and i'm truly so touched to see that. :')
we were pulled closer to each other since our VERY FIRST MIF CAMP!
during last June holidays.
in the camp, we learned, we shared, we laughed, we went PEK CEK!, we loved and know one another more.
it was a pleasure believe me, to grow with them.

i'm surer than ever.

when people you know, asks you about what you're gonna study in the future, or your ideal career, what would you say?

would you reply without hesitant, firm and sure as ever and answer the other person?
or you could be a bit taken off guard and that brief moment of "umm" or "hmm"

well, i used to be like that.
i don't know but i was.
and for some odd reasons, i don't know if it's my awkward shyness or my insecurity of my own future, i erm-ed.

BUT now,
after some incidents that happened,
starting from today onwards, i know where i'm going. and i won't be afraid to say it out loud.
'cause it's my dream and imma CATCH IT!
no matter what your response would be. (:

aaaaanyway,
going back to what happened at school recently.

we're having the annual Hari Keusahawanan this thurday,
and my class is joining! *weee*
though it's a weird combination of excitement and fear, our choice was God's choice, too.
so i believe in it.

we pretty much signed up at the latest date possible, and everything's just crammed up in one big pile of mess.
i admit that we don't have time at all to go slow and plan things through properly.
because we can't, we seriously can't.
but GOD can and that's why we're doing it. ;)

today i was very moody and stressed out over the whole thing,
i guess my expression gave everything away and scared some of you. (i'm sorry about that!)
but a very very big thank-you to HUICHING!
thank you so much, though u maybe not even realize it,
but talking to you made me feel a LOT better, really.
sometimes u can be so moody too, but when you're cheerful, you cheer everyone around you. hahaha so thank you again. :)

we can't do everything with our tiny-weeny hands and tiny-weeny knowledge,
so i need you.
i'm completely weak without you.
thank you, for giving me abundantly.
& now, bless my right hand and flood it with inspirations.
and YOUR wonderful creativity. ;))

allow me to say " HAPPY HOLIDAYS ! "

FINALLY.

mid-term behind me,
stressed out school life behind me,
studying behind me,
first term of school behind me,
half a year of 2010 ALL behind me.

ok the last statement suddenly made me feel all touchy,
considering the fact it will SOON be over.
my final year in smkaa, and half of it is already goneee.

today was also su wen's LAST day at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Alor Akar!
wow everyone was getting all 'huggy' and 'kissy'
grabbing every last chance to bid him goodbye and wish him all the best on his way.

i didn't shook his hand, didn't bid him goodbye formally, definitely didn't hug or kiss him LOL
but as i stood behind all the crowd, oddly enough, i felt like i am actually gonna miss that crazy-can'tevenspeakmalay-fat-smalleye china guy. :D

flashing back to the first day we met him, hahaha. those memories.
how could it have been a year already?
i felt i've been missing out on a lot of things, like i was shooting like a rocket across this whole year.
but the fact was, i wasn't.
because time was shooting, not me.

so this post is for you! Mr. Xiao Su Wen.
though i know you would never read it,
BUT

i sincerely wish you the very best as you go on back to china, to your hometown. :)
and God knows when' we'll meet again,
but even if we don't or amazingly we DO,
i believe God's guiding you every step of the way,
even if you don't believe it ;)

i'll definitely keep praying for you,
and oh,

DON'T YOU DARE FORGET ANY ONE OF US!
bahahaha.
'cause we won't ever forget you.

au revoir, buddy. ;D

satisfaction

yeah, i shouldn't be here. i know.
why's everybody saying that but still doing it?
guess we all have something in common then. xD

aaaanyway hor,
i, err i mean huiching, finally found me the piano score i've been dying for. LOL
yeah, thank you so much!
the song that i dreamed of learning and playing it perfectly one day. haha
Jon Mclaughlin - So close
Gosh, it's such a beautiful song!
really, he is so freaking talented.

i'll be spending time to keep practicing it.
hope the passion doesn't fade, as usual.
=)

also, while you're here.
check out this amazingly choreographed and composed worship song
performed by a korean worship dance team.
i really love it so much
the lyrics are meaningful and the dance is wow.
don't forget hard to learn.
but we're trying our best! :D

Taming the Tiger

well, yesterday's yesterday i had an awesome night.
and i believe so did everyone else there.
really, those who went, were truly blessed :)

yesterday i got a LAST MINUTE ticket entrance to the
Ta
ming The Tiger
-- a remarkable true story of a Kung Fu champion.

i was considered lucky,

i really wanted to go for weeks, and amazingly,
my chemistry tuition teacher canceled our wednesday night tuition because she was going too haha!

the place was flooded with people!
i've never seen it so fully packed, what a great crowd! :D
we ate dinner there before we start, the food was okay. (which we only paid RM7 for it xD)
sadly, a lot of them went home after the dinner -_-
it was definitely their loss.

now i'd like to introduce you the speaker of the night, the kung fu world champion!

leng zai leh? LOL.
*the photo was not taken last night*

he started his talk with a brief introduction of his life,
since he was a kid, he was brutally beaten up by his grandfather every time he talks to him.
and shockingly, he was only 4 at that time.

the most touching part was when he was in jail for 3 years.
he'd killed people, murdered them while collecting debts and for no reason.
he was a murderer.
the story of him that he experienced in prison, was the most miraculous part.
i really really really wanna share the story of his life HERE with you all,
but it's too long.
so if you wanna know about it, go youtube and search it up. you'll find it there.
or u can always leave a message and tell me, doubtlessly i'd be more than glad to share the story with you! :D

there were many things that night that he said was truly touching and memorable to me.

" If God was the One who created you,
and He was also the One who created the ENTIRE universe,
don't you think He deserves to be the most important Person in your life? "

don't you..?

it hit me instantly,
at how true that question was.
it really left me to ponder,
if all this time in my life, did i really put God as the MOST IMPORTANT PERSON to me.
and to other people who never knew about God,
it probably hit them harder :D

so, think about that.
but if your answer is still no,
God still loves you, don't worry xD

My chains are gone I've been set free
My God, my Saviour
Has ransomed me

And like a flood His mercy reigns
Unending love
Amazing g r a c e

isnapsoutloud.

lifeless.
today was lifeless.

today was so lifeless.

err, yeah.

Hahahaha, ok.

but seriously la, today was so freaking lifeless.

well this is mainly because i volunteered to help out as a PBSM first aid at smarts today,
they're having a softball competition this whole week.
so looks like i'm gonna rot the whole week there.

bleeekkkkkkkk
. -_-

actually i also don't know why i signed up for this.

oh, right.
for the cert. freaking cert.

you see what students these days would do to get a cert??!

such a big sacrifice to make. Ha. xD

spent the whole schooling hour there,
luckily i was smart enough to go back early if not ah.. haih.

tomorrow we're taking shifts , thankfully.
so i'm going to the morning one,
and probably study little bit at school after that.

enough about lifelessness la,

i just wanna share some shooties i took at ma-la-ka from my previous trip.
but most of them are photos of baby joyce, hehe.

'cause she's sooo adorable !

she can't stop smiling. LOL.

let the pictures babble on.

enjoy! :D

playing with her greenie ball.

biting her greenie ball.

"...ball, ball..?"

want a bite? :D

doggie.

ah ma's hands.
the familiar face. :)
