Acceptance & Beyond (:
brother Paul shared something really true today,
as he puts it, "heart-stirring".
why is acceptance so hard? especially in our multi-racial country.
all the efforts the people with power put in to try to bring us to unity,
running endless campaigns of awareness in hope for all of us to finally accept each other as we are.
yet, we still despise one another.
blinded by the fog of 'we are always better', or as sociologist puts it - group bias.
racism has no end,
until we realize that everything we believe in is built on the wrong foundation.
ever wonder why - when it's so hard to accept our fellow malaysians - as christians when we find out that someone else or our own friend are christians too, we feel an immediate joy that bursts out from within?
it's love. it's our spiritual likeness.
knowing that you love God & i love God & we all love God,
is the key.
is the click, the link.
is the foundation.
