too good not to share.

what happened yesterday:

3 incidents that happened coincidently, and it had Daddy written all over it :D


on Friday, i finally decided on my song list for praise&worship on our sunday mif,
and i thought of a song which we haven't been singing in a long time,
Daddy spoke to me and suggested it
我愿做个驴驹主 was the song title.
if u dunno chinese, the song was singing about humbling ourselves and be ready to be used by Jesus like how He had used the colt when He entered the town of Jerusalem.
so i said, why not? :)


yesterday, when pastor viccent was preaching his sermon
the scripture he talked about was from Mark 11:1-11

“Go to the village ahead of you, and just as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. ³If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord needs it and will send it back here shortly.’” (vv2-3)

colt meant donkey, the one that Jesus used to rode into the town of Jerusalem

at that point i didn't realize the connection it had with the song i chose

so i was still blur blur xD

yesterday night before i went to sleep,

i opened up my ODJ and flipped to the page that marked Sunday 17 April 2011

the devotional that i was supposed to read yesterday

and at the first glance, i saw the title:

"A King on A Donkey?"

o.o me> donkey? huh?

as i read through the devotional passage, i felt unbelievably touched.

Dad was doing something amazing 

speaking to me through the SAME story, three times. 

each had its own lesson at the end. 

first, the song: from the perspective of the colt

second, the sermon: from the perspective of the crowd

third, the devotional: from the perspective of Jesus himself.

:)

when i finished leading the song and praise&worship that afternoon,

my other back up singer came to me and asked :

"why would u choose that song one? it's a very very old song eh"

"i dunno, i just felt that i want to lead it this week"

"ooh. just so you know the song touched me just now :)"

the rest of the story is long and i don't have time to type it all now.

but it's such an inspiring day, i couldn't sleep yesterday thinking about what happened xD
