let me mean what i say.
when i sing out "i will love You forever"
let me not just sing, but do it.
when my mouth speaks out "use me Lord, for Your kingdom"
let not only my mouth speaks, but my heart cries out the same.
whenever i sing "let Your will be done in my life, my God"
give me a humble heart to actually follow it, when the time comes that You tell me to do so.
Lord, let me not sing out in vain.
don't let me be like a poser, only worshiping You without a truthful heart.
only speaking things with my tongue and not my soul and heart.
Lord, teach me. lead me.
i am only human, i'm weak all the time.
but God, You have brought me so far now, i know You'll continue bringing me through all things.
"And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him" (Matthew 6:5-8).
