MIF's first BBQ in 2010. :D
yeah we had it at Leng & Theng's house
lots of good food, lots of fun, lots of craziness.
thanks to everyone for making it great! ahah.
although, we are more or less affected by the grilled foods. *winks*
by the way, do you still remember when was the last time you actually ran around playing tag with your friends? trust me, the game still doesn't get old. ;D

Saturday

The Discipleship Lesson that day had to be canceled because we didn't have more than 50% of the attendance. *awww*
but! we went out for yam-cha instead. *wooohoo*
we have to thank God for that too because it was actually our first time to go minum-minum with our Pastor Viccent Wong. :D
what a chance to booond eh?

Sunday

SUNDAY SERVICE CELEBRATION and MIF!
the day to gather together again in the house of God
what can be better?
when you can just forget about a week of frustration, depressed and working and studying
and just let it all go, and give'em to God.
how amazing it is that He is always there for our problems, He takes them and gobbles them in. problem solved. ;)

five loaves and two fishes.

wow.

a seemingly busy week, or was it month, finally went by.
either way, it was, like any other MIF sundays we've had for the past years, glory glory glory to Him.
22nd of aug was our KCMIF Sunday at church,
eeeeveryone was in it and played their roles to serve God
it didn't matter whether it was a small part, or a heavy duty,
we are all still serving the same God, and He sees our hearts. (:

anyway. i feel a little .. something inside. hah.
not sure how to say it
but maybe it's because of i'm not sure whether this year would be my last in kcmif.
wow couldn't believe 5 years gone?
i can't bring to words of how grateful i sincerely am to Him,
for bringing me to church and let me know about Him practically since birth.

everyone grows up, and has dreams to dream and to build, has a future to go on with.

and i am the same.
as though i'm still UNcertain of my where-to-go, but wherever it is it would be without a doubt, another brand new door He's opening up for me.
intimidated as i'm sure i will be, i have His hands to squeeze. ;)

back to school.
our last topical test before trial is finally over.
hahaha oddly everyone was so happy, when rightfully we should be more in a fever and burying our heads in our sejarah textbooks.
today a classmate of mine(which is also a christian) told me about a video, five loaves and two fishes. (wu bing er yu, in chinese)
she asked me to check it out 'cause it's kinda nice, but sorry to say i was only patronizing her and nodded lightly.

got home and after waking up from my nap and logged on to facebook ( as usual xD )
saw that Aileen had linked some of the mif's with a video.
surely, anything that she links means something important for us to see. haha.
so i clicked 'play' and let it buffer.
when it started playing the titles came out, FIVE LOAVES AND TWO BREADS.
i was a bit startled.
"waa God, really such a coincidence meh?"
haha i guess it's because i took what my friend recommended for granted when Dad really wanted me to see it.
somehow He still got His way. :D

i'm thankful for it!

i feel really grateful
now that my weekends are really spent to the ultimate FULLEST !
it's such a great feeling, to know that you didn't waste a single minute of the day.

i really look forward to weekends now :D
ok, maybe minus the two tuitions on saturday, other than that, i got to spend it with God. (=
i feel myself glowing with joy when i'm happy with what i'm doing.
spending time at church is definitely better than spending time anywhere else. (:

last saturday we started our first "disciple lessons" which will last for a few months only. ):
good thing is, ALL the mif's are in the same class. :DD
we have such a fun time LEARNING together, and also with our teacher, Pastor Viccent Wong. :)

i'm sure all of us will gain a lot from this,
not only holding our bonds stronger, but also flourishing spiritually in Christ as one big happy family. (:

i'm trying out new blogskins, and i'm kinda loving this one right now. :D

HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY TO THE GIRL BORN TODAY 17 YEARS AGO! :D

remember the moment when..?

counting back to the year 2007, till now.

it's been four years. four long year wes.

and now, we finally made it.

yesterday, we wrote history.

smkaa choir team, achieved victory with the sweat and time we poured out and earned.

we took on the champion of Pertandingan Koir Lagu-lagu Patriotik Peringkat Negeri Pahang !

honestly we didn't expect, and never expect this year to be any special.

we didn't even had the thought of fighting to win first place.

we just sang for the sake of it.

and for me, i sang for the last year in my secondary school. :D

before they announced the results,

we held each other's hands so tightly, until sweat was squeezed out like juice.

i couldn't bare to look, just the sound of the emcee was heard.

just at the split second before they announced the school's name,

i had a sudden wave of fear of disappointment that it was going to happen like what happened two years ago,

complete disappointment, as we aimed for champion, but came in the opposite.

i felt like exploding before that very second,

i believe we all did :D

and then drum rolls, "SEKOLAH MENENGAH ALOR AKARRRRRRR !!!!!!!!!!!!"

all of us, jumped up in unspeakable joy!

hugged, laughed, teared, sobbed.

all because of the overflowing joy that we felt.

deeply from our hearts.

we couldn't believe it.

after four years, our four year dream.

fulfilled.

and my God, i couldn't thank my dear Dad more.

my last year, and we're going to the nationals.

not too soon, not too late.

and i'll be leaving my secondary life with this once in a lifetime experience. :D

thanks to everyone,

thanks to our conductor,

thanks to our pianist,

thanks to every single team player.

without a single one of you, none of this could even become reality.

we made it to where we are now, this moment,

because of our effort.

no shortcuts.

and next, the NATIONALS.

there'll be two rounds in the nationals.

pertandingan saringan, and finally get short-listed to go to pertandingan peringkat akhir.

it ain't gonna be easy at all.

i won't mind if we don't win at all,

because we've made it this far.

which is already a wonderful achievement.

we only have one week till we're off to the battle field.

wish us luck and blessings on next saturday and sunday.

everything is in His hands, everything controlled and lead by You.
